June 7, 2006 - Highwater Ethanol L.L.C. of Lamberton, MN announced today their intent to build a 50 Million gallon Ethanol Facility. The facility will be designed and built by Fagen Inc of Granite Falls, MN and ICM. Highwater Ethanol will construct a corn processing facility that utilizes the regions resources and returns a maximum profit to its member investors while producing a renewable fuel.  Highwater Ethanol has done preliminary work on production well site, site selection and permitting necessary to move the project forward.  Highwater Ethanol’s intent is to add value to locally raised corn and strengthen the regional economy by creating approximately 35 – 40 jobs.
